O valor contido pela Value propriedade depende do evento no qual o ConvertEventArgs é retornado. O ConvertEventArgs pode ser retornado no Format evento ou no Parse evento .

Quando o ConvertEventArgs é retornado no Format evento, a Value propriedade contém o valor da propriedade não formatado da fonte de dados. Dentro do Format evento, você pode ler o valor da propriedade, formatar o valor e redefinir a Value propriedade para o novo valor (formatado), definindo assim o valor exibido no controle associado a dados.

Quando o ConvertEventArgs é retornado no Parse evento, a propriedade contém o valor formatado sob medida do controle associado a dados. Dentro do Parse evento, você deve ler o valor formatado, analisá-lo e convertê-lo de volta para o mesmo tipo de dados que a fonte de dados. Em seguida, você pode redefinir a Value propriedade para o valor não formatado e, assim, definir o valor da fonte de dados. Para determinar o tipo da fonte de dados, examine o valor da DesiredType propriedade.
