Remarks
Use the Count property to determine the number of items that will be used from the data source. The value returned is determined by the following criteria:
If the current page is not the last page and the MaximumRows property is set to a value that is greater than or equal to 0, the value of the MaximumRows property is returned.
If the current page is not the last page and the MaximumRows property is set to a value that is less than 0, the value of the DataSourceCount property is subtracted from the value of the StartRowIndex property before it is returned.
If the current page is the last page, the value of the DataSourceCount property is subtracted from the value of the StartRowIndex property before it is returned.
If the DataSource property is
null
, 0 is returned.
