Se la classe è stata derivata dalla AsyncCompletedEventArgs classe , le proprietà di sola lettura devono chiamare il RaiseExceptionIfNecessary() metodo prima di restituire il valore della proprietà. Se il codice di lavoro asincrono del componente assegna un'eccezione alla Error proprietà o imposta la Cancelled proprietà su true, la proprietà genererà un'eccezione se un client tenta di leggerne il valore. Ciò impedisce ai client di accedere alle proprietà potenzialmente non valide a causa di un errore nell'operazione asincrona.
