Installing the Application

The Issue Tracking application must be installed on a computer running Microsoft® Visual Studio® .NET. Use the following procedure to install the application.

To install the Issue Tracking application files

  1. Start the Setup application in the ITASetup folder. By default, the Issue Tracking application setup is installed in the folder "\Program Files\Exchange SDK\SDK\Samples\Issue Tracking".
  2. When the Welcome page appears, click Next.
  3. When the Select Installation Address page appears, accept the default (ITA), and click Next.
  4. When the Confirm Installation page appears, click Next, and then click Close when the installation is complete.
  5. Open Visual Studio .NET.
  6. From the File menu, select Open and then Project from Web.
  7. In the Project Open from Web page, type https://localhost/ITA.
  8. In the Open Project page, select the ITA project and click Open.
  9. In the Solution Explorer pane, right-click default.aspx and click Set as Start Page.
  10. From the Build menu, choose Build ITA.

The Issue Tracking application is now running, and is ready for configuration. For more information about configuring the application, see Configuring the Application.
