NoDial (Standard 8 Module Reference)

Review the applicable Feature modules and any examples for the NoDial setting in Windows Embedded 8 Standard (Standard 8).

This setting specifies whether to use a sign-up process based on the Internet Explorer Administrator Kit (IEAK).

Set to false to use an IEAK process; otherwise, set to true. The default value is false.

Leave this set to false if the sign-up process for your device is through an internet connection wizard, or if the process will not involve a server.

Modules

The following table shows the modules that you can apply this setting to. In Image Configuration Editor (ICE), you can follow the corresponding path to set this setting for a module.
