Activity Log

Expression Studio 4.0

Use the Activity Log to view a status history of any major activity that you perform, such as setting options, connecting or removing an external device, or beginning or ending a broadcast. You can also save the log entries as a text file, or copy them to the Clipboard.

The Activity Log is divided into columns that display the following categories of information:

  • Time   Displays the date and time of the log entry.

  • Severity   Displays the type of entry that the log is displaying. This will read either Info or Error.

  • Message   If the activity was successful, displays a confirmation that the action occurred. If the activity was unsuccessful, or one that may impede your progress, displays an error message.

To save Activity Log entries

  1. On the Options menu, click Save As.

  2. Name the file and browse to the location where you want to save the file.

  3. Click Save.

To copy Activity Log entries

  • On the Options menu, click Copy to Clipboard.

To delete Activity Log entries

  • On the Options menu, click Clear.
