Syntax

'Declaration
Property Availability As Integer
int Availability { get; set; }
property int Availability {
    int get ();
    void set (int value);
}
/** @property */
int get_Availability ()

/** @property */
void set_Availability (int value)
function get Availability () : int

function set Availability (value : int)

Property Value

A value of the LONG* (int, for a .NET application) type.

Remarks

Availability is described by an integer. The meaning of the number is application-defined. Different applications interoperating with each other need to understand the availability semantics defined by the partnering applications. The UCC_PRESENCE_AVAILABILITY enumeration type defines the availability value ranges compatible to Office Communications Server and Office Communicator. It is recommended as a general guideline for applications to follow.

Win32 COM/C++ Syntax

HRESULT get_Availability
(
   LONG* plAvailability
);
HRESULT put_Availability
(
   LONG plAvailability
);

Note

In a Win32 application, the return value of a method or property is always an HRESULT value indicating the status of the call to the interface member. Any result of the operation is returned as a parameter marked with the [out, retval] attribute. In contrast, in a .NET application the HRESULT value indicating an error condition is returned as a COM exception and the [out, retval] parameter becomes the return value. For the UCC API-defined HRESULT values, see Error Codes.

Thread Safety

All public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread-safe. Instance members are not guaranteed to be thread-safe.
