How to: Modify Work Item Queries (Team System Web Access)

To find information that is not listed in Team Queries, such as work items that contain specific words or that are in specific states, create a custom query in My Queries. You can save any query you create and then reopen it when you need it. If you create queries that the whole team will use, save them in the Team Queries folder to make them available to everyone on the project. Required Permissions

To perform these procedures, you must be a member of the Readers group or have the View work items in this node permission set to Allow. To save a query as a team query, you must be a member of the Project Administrators group. For more information, see Team Foundation Server Permissions.

To edit work item queries

  1. In Team System Web Access, click the Work Items tab.

  2. Click the arrow next to the query that you want to modify and then click Edit.

  3. Modify the query.
