About the Business Process dimension
The Business Process dimension contains a member hierarchy that enables Planning Business Modeler to store the results from different stages of predefined financial calculations, such as consolidation, allocation, and currency conversion. Because the dimension members store results from each step of these processes, the data that is stored can be useful for auditing and for custom calculations. The Business Process dimension is automatically included with financial models.
All members, member sets, and other properties of this dimension are visible on the member pages of the Dimension Workspace.
The Business Process dimension includes two kinds of members, system-defined members and user-modifiable members.
System-defined members - Planning Business Modeler uses the system-defined members to store the results of system calculations and operations; these members accept no user input. The system-defined members are AUTOADJ, CONSOLIDATED, ELIMINATION, POSTALLOC, PREALLOC, and PREELIM.
User-modifiable members - User-modifiable members of the Business Process dimension support all user-directed input to business rules. The user-modifiable members are ALLOC, INPUT, FXADJ, and MANADJ.
