Adding Task Objects to the Every Boot Task

The Every Boot task is executed each time the server appliance is booted. The OEM can add appliance task objects to the list of task executables in the Every Boot Task. All of these task objects are executed every time the computer is booted. To add a task object so that a given task is executed every time the computer boots, you must stop and then start the Appliance Manager service, for example, net stop appmgr; net start appmgr, after changing the registry value.

Every Boot Task objects are listed under the HKLM\Software\Microsoft\ServerAppliance\ApplianceManager\ObjectManagers\Microsoft_SA_Task\EveryBootTask registry key and the TaskExecutables value name.
