Adding a Web Task

A Web task is a property page or wizard that is part of the Web UI. A Web task displays a full-screen window which allows the user to enter configuration data and then to either commit or cancel the changes. A property sheet displays OK and Cancel buttons while a wizard displays Back, Next, Cancel, and Finish buttons.

Creating a Web task requires that you complete the following three steps:

1. Optional: Create a task object.
2. Optional: Add a task to the Appliance Manager.
3. Create one of the following types of ASP pages:
   • Property Page
   • Multitabbed Property Page
   • Wizard Page
4. Add the task to a navigation page.
