Exercise 5: Deploy and Test the Silverlight Application

In this exercise you will deploy and test the completed Silverlight Web Part.

Task 1 – Deploying and Test the Application.

1. Right-click on the solution in the Solution Explorer and select Deploy Solution.
2. Navigate to https://intranet.contoso.com/queryWSDemo.aspx using Internet Explorer.
3. Enter SharePoint into the Keyword textbox.
4. Click the Search button.

5. Verify the results are displayed in the Silverlight application.
