Deleting a Package

When you delete a package from the component database, all versions of the components and repositories that belong to that package are removed from the database. You can only delete a package when you are using Windows XP Embedded Component Database Manager in Exclusive mode.

Note   Deleting a database object makes a configuration that contains that object invalid.

To delete a package

  1. In Windows XP Embedded Windows XP Embedded Component Database Manager, select the Package tab, and then select the platform that contains the package you want to delete.
  2. Select the package you want to delete from the list of available packages.
  3. Choose Delete Package.
  4. Choose Yes.
