ToolStripItem.OnQueryContinueDrag(QueryContinueDragEventArgs) Method

Definition

Raises the QueryContinueDrag event.

protected:
 virtual void OnQueryContinueDrag(System::Windows::Forms::QueryContinueDragEventArgs ^ queryContinueDragEvent);
protected virtual void OnQueryContinueDrag (System.Windows.Forms.QueryContinueDragEventArgs queryContinueDragEvent);
abstract member OnQueryContinueDrag : System.Windows.Forms.QueryContinueDragEventArgs -> unit
override this.OnQueryContinueDrag : System.Windows.Forms.QueryContinueDragEventArgs -> unit
Protected Overridable Sub OnQueryContinueDrag (queryContinueDragEvent As QueryContinueDragEventArgs)

Parameters

queryContinueDragEvent
QueryContinueDragEventArgs

A QueryContinueDragEventArgs that contains the event data.

Remarks

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Handling and Raising Events.

The OnQueryContinueDrag method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors

When overriding OnQueryContinueDrag(QueryContinueDragEventArgs) in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnQueryContinueDrag(QueryContinueDragEventArgs) method so that registered delegates receive the event.
