L'uso del ToUInt16(String) metodo equivale al passaggio value al UInt16.Parse(String) metodo . value viene interpretato usando le convenzioni di formattazione delle impostazioni cultura correnti.

Se fromBase è 16, è possibile anteporre il numero specificato dal value parametro con "0x" o "0X".

Poiché il UInt16 tipo di dati supporta solo valori senza segno, il ToUInt16(String, Int32) metodo presuppone che value venga espresso usando una rappresentazione binaria senza segno. Quando si eseguono operazioni binarie o conversioni numeriche, è sempre responsabilità dello sviluppatore verificare che un metodo o un operatore usi la rappresentazione numerica appropriata per interpretare un determinato valore. Nell'esempio seguente viene illustrata una tecnica per garantire che il metodo non usi in modo inappropriato la rappresentazione binaria per interpretare un valore che utilizza la rappresentazione di complemento di due durante la conversione di una stringa esadecimale in un UInt16 valore. Nell'esempio viene determinato se un valore rappresenta un intero con segno o senza segno durante la conversione di tale valore nella relativa rappresentazione di stringa. Quando l'esempio converte il valore in un UInt16 valore, controlla se il valore originale è un intero con segno.
