La SelectedItems proprietà non conterrà elementi se si accede alla proprietà prima della creazione dell'handle ListView , che in genere si verifica quando ListView viene caricato inizialmente per la visualizzazione nel modulo. È possibile verificare se l'handle viene creato con la IsHandleCreated proprietà . Quando la MultiSelect proprietà è impostata su true, questa proprietà restituisce un insieme contenente gli elementi selezionati in ListView. Per una selezione ListViewsingola, questa proprietà restituisce un insieme contenente l'unico elemento selezionato in ListView.
