The SelectedValue of the BulletedList, if one of the items in the BulletedList is selected; otherwise, an empty string ("").

Exceptions

NotSupportedException

An attempt was made to assign a value to the Text.

Remarks

The Text property is inherited from the ListControl class and is not applicable to the BulletedList control.

Note

The Text property is set internally based on the selected list item in the BulletedList control. If you set the Text property directly, a NotSupportedException exception is thrown.

While you cannot access the Text property of BulletedList control, you can use the event data of the BulletedListEventArgs class to determine the index of the link button in a BulletedList that was clicked. You can then access the Text property of the LinkButton control.
