BaseValidator.OnUnload(EventArgs) Method

Definition

Raises the Unload event.

protected:
 override void OnUnload(EventArgs ^ e);
protected public:
 override void OnUnload(EventArgs ^ e);
protected override void OnUnload (EventArgs e);
protected internal override void OnUnload (EventArgs e);
override this.OnUnload : EventArgs -> unit
Protected Overrides Sub OnUnload (e As EventArgs)
Protected Friend Overrides Sub OnUnload (e As EventArgs)

Parameters

e
EventArgs

A EventArgs that contains the event data.

Remarks

This method has been overridden to unregister the validation control on the page.

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Handling and Raising Events.

The OnUnload method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors

When overriding OnUnload(EventArgs) in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnUnload(EventArgs) method so that registered delegates receive the event.
