Map.SetView Method (GeoCoordinate, Double, Double, Double, MapAnimationKind)

Sets the map view using the specified center, zoom level, heading, and pitch. The view change uses the specified animation.

Parameters
- center
Type: System.Device.Location..::.GeoCoordinate
The center to use in the map view. For more info, see the Center property.
- zoomLevel
Type: System..::.Double
The zoom level to use in the map view. For more info, see the ZoomLevel property.
- heading
Type: System..::.Double
The heading to use in the map view. For more info, see the Heading property.
- pitch
Type: System..::.Double
The pitch to use in the map view. For more info, see the Pitch property.
- animationKind
Type: Microsoft.Phone.Maps.Controls..::.MapAnimationKind
The type of animation to use when changing the view.
Remarks
If you provide a value for the center argument that is less than two centimeters (2 cm.) from the current center, the new value is ignored and the current center is not changed. The other properties such as zoomLevel, however, are updated using the new values that were passed in, even when the value of center is ignored.
