You can specify the Banco Central do Brazil (BACEN) code that is used to identify a country or region, and the Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatistica (IBGE) code that is used to identify a city. The BACEN and IBGE codes are used in the Nota fiscal electrônica (NF-e). The IBGE code is a national code that the IBGE uses to identify the city in which a legal entity and its vendors and customers are located. The BACEN and IBGE codes are included on the fiscal reports.
