In this topic, we’ll cover the flip Tile template in greater detail.

The flip Tile template is modeled after the Windows Phone OS 7.1 Tile template, therefore the same design guidelines apply to Windows Phone 8 and Windows Phone 7.1 flip Tiles. If you’re designing a Tile for Windows Phone 7.1, the following flip Tile template guidelines apply.

Because the Tile flips at a random interval, we recommend you put your most important info on the front and lighter info on the back.

All character counts are approximations because Segoe WP isn’t a fixed-width font. No lines wrap on their own; you’ll have to program your own line breaks.
