SpeechSynthesizer.SpeakSsmlAsync(String, Object) method

Asynchronously speaks a string of text with Speech Synthesis Markup Language (SSML) markup with a text-to-speech voice.

Parameters

  • content
    Type: System.String [.NET] | Platform::String [C++]

    The text to speak in Speech Synthesis Markup Language (SSML) format.

  • userState
    Type: System.Object [.NET] | Platform::Object [C++]

    Optional information that can be accessed in the completed event to determine which asynchronous call raised the event.

Return value

Type: IAsyncAction

The result of the asynchronous action.
