Array.zeroCreate<'T> Function (F#)

Creates an array where the entries are initially the default value Unchecked.defaultof<'T>.

Array.zeroCreate : int -> 'T []

// Usage:
Array.zeroCreate count


count Type: int

The length of the array to create.

Return Value

The created array.


This function is named ZeroCreate in compiled assemblies. If you are accessing the function from a language other than F#, or through reflection, use this name.


The following example demonstrates the use of Array.zeroCreate.

let arrayOfTenZeroes : int array = Array.zeroCreate 10
