Set-AzureRole

Sets the number of instances of a Windows Azure role to run.

Parameter Set: ParameterSetDeploymentSlot
Set-AzureRole [-ServiceName] <String> [-Slot] <String> [-RoleName] <String> [-Count] <Int32> [ <CommonParameters>]

This topic describes the cmdlet in the .6.19 version of the Windows Azure PowerShell module. To find out the version of the module you're using, from the Windows Azure PowerShell console, type (get-module azure).version.

The Set-AzureRole cmdlet sets the number of instances of a specified role to run in a Windows Azure deployment.

Specifies the number of role instances to run.
