Running the test

Before you run the test, complete the test setup as described in the test requirements: Wireless LAN (802.11) Testing Prerequisites.

This test suite does the following:

  • The SUT acts as a listener and the DUT connect to it.

  • Verify that the pairing was completed in 3 seconds on the connector side and 25 seconds on the listener side.

  • Verify that packet loss for simultaneous pings between the STA and the access point and the GO and the client is less than 95%.

  • Verify that average latency is less than 500 milliseconds.

These tests are driven at the Proximity (Peerfinder) RT layer for GO Negotiation and Invitation and the WLanAPI layer for JoinExistingGO.
