Como um aplicativo que permite escrita à tinta precisa diferenciar a entrada que se destina a desenhar traços de tinta da entrada que se destina a apagar traços de tinta, a ação de apagar costuma ser implementada como um estado modal.

A ação de apagar pode ser ativada de diferentes maneiras: com um comando da barra de aplicativos, com a ponta de borracha da caneta ou com o botão do cilindro da caneta (incluindo os botões de movimento). Os botões do cilindro da caneta são úteis porque reduzem o tempo de resposta entre a superfície de desenho e a barra de aplicativos. O aplicativo deve oferecer suporte a todas as opções e recursos do dispositivo.

Aqui, nós mostramos uma superfície de desenho com uma única tela usada para aceitar traços de tinta e apagar traços de tinta, com base em um estado de entrada especificado pelo usuário.

InkManipulationMode especifica o comportamento dos novos traços desenhados pelo usuário. No modo erasing, os novos traços são exibidos na superfície de desenho, mas não são renderizados e desaparecem quando a caneta é levantada. Os traços existentes são apagados quando o usuário os intercepta com a ação de apagar. Este é o comportamento padrão da plataforma de tinta do Windows 8.

Etapa 1: Crie um gerenciador de tinta
