Evento ListView.ItemCanceling

Ocorre quando uma operação de cancelamento é solicitada, mas antes de o controle ListView cancelar a operação de inserção ou edição.

Namespace:   System.Web.UI.WebControls
Assembly:  System.Web.Extensions (em System.Web.Extensions.dll)

public event EventHandler<ListViewCancelEventArgs> ItemCanceling

The T:System.Web.UI.WebControls.ListView control raises the E:System.Web.UI.WebControls.ListView.ItemCanceling event when a Cancel button in the P:System.Web.UI.WebControls.ListView.InsertItemTemplate or P:System.Web.UI.WebControls.ListView.EditItemTemplate template is clicked, but before the T:System.Web.UI.WebControls.ListView control cancels the insert or edit operation. (A Cancel button is a button control whose P:System.Web.UI.WebControls.Button.CommandName property is set to "Cancel".) This enables you to perform a custom routine whenever this event occurs, such as stopping the cancel operation if it would put the item in an unwanted state.

A T:System.Web.UI.WebControls.ListViewCancelEventArgs object is passed to the event handler, which enables you to determine the index of the item. It also lets you indicate that the cancel operation should be stopped. To stop the operation, set the P:System.ComponentModel.CancelEventArgs.Cancel property of the T:System.Web.UI.WebControls.ListViewCancelEventArgs object to true.

For more information about how to handle events, see NIB: Consuming Events.

The following example shows how to create an E:System.Web.UI.WebControls.ListView.ItemCanceling event handler.

System_CAPS_security Segurança Observação

This example contains text boxes that accept user input, which is a potential security threat. By default, ASP.NET Web pages validate that user input does not include script or HTML elements. For more information, see Script Exploits Overview.
