Lync Server 2013 Persistent Chat SDK documentation
The Microsoft Lync Server 2013 Persistent Chat SDK includes the Microsoft Lync Server 2013 Persistent Chat API documentation, managed code library, and sample applications.
The Lync Server 2013 Persistent Chat API managed code library is built over Microsoft Unified Communications Managed API 4.0. The library contains the main assembly called Microsoft.Rtc.Collaboration.PersistentChat.dll, and dependent assemblies called Microsoft.Rtc.Collaboration.dll and SIPEPS.dll. The dependent assemblies are part of the UCMA runtime.

The Lync Server 2013 Persistent Chat API classes are organized in the following two namespaces:
The Microsoft.Rtc.Collaboration.PersistentChat namespace provides basic functionality for Persistent Chat applications to send and receive chat messages, browse the chat room directory, and query chat history. The Microsoft.Rtc.Collaboration.PersistentChat.Management namespace provides features that are used to manage chat rooms and to examine user roles or permissions.
