Sobre a coluna xml ProductModel.Instructions

A coluna Instructions da tabela ProductModel armazena instruções de fabricação como documentos XML. Esses documentos foram criados usando .NET do Microsoft Word.

Cada documento XML contém as instruções completas de fabricação de um modelo de produto específico. No entanto cada modelo do produto pode conter vários produtos. Por exemplo, Road 450 é um modelo do produto de bicicleta. Há várias bicicletas nesse modelo de produto, como Road 450 Red 25 e Road 450 Green 48. A principal diferença entre as bicicletas em um modelo de produto é a cor e o tamanho.

Por exemplo, os quadros da HH Mountain, LL Mountain e ML Mountain são produtos específicos com IDs exclusivos, mas todos são tipos de quadros dentro do modelo de produto de quadro da bicicleta Mountain.

A coluna ProductID da tabela Product identifica cada produto. A coluna ProductModelID na tabela Product identifica o modelo de produto ao qual o produto pertence.

O processo de fabricação usa um produto de um centro de trabalho para outro e o documento XML descreve as etapas de fabricação em cada centro de trabalho. Na descrição das etapas de fabricação, as ferramentas, materiais, planos gráficos e diagramas são todos envolvidos nas marcas XML. Portanto você pode consultar as marcas. Por exemplo, é possível usar XQuery para localizar todas as ferramentas usadas na produção de uma mountain bike.
