IFPCArrayPolicy::PolicyRules property

The PolicyRules property gets an FPCPolicyRules collection that contains all the policy rules on the array.

This property is read-only.

Property value

Reference to an FPCPolicyRules collection that contains all the policy rules on the array.

Error codes

This property method returns S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, it returns an error code.

Remarks

This property is read-only. Policy rules can be added or removed, and their order of application can be modified by calling the methods of the FPCPolicyRules collection retrieved (the IFPCPolicyRules interface retrieved in C++).

When an enterprise with central array management is deployed, the following restrictions apply.

  • Access rules that allow traffic may not be created in the array policy if the enterprise administrator sets the EnableAllowRules property of the FPCPolicyAssignment object (IFPCPolicyAssignment interface in C++) for the array to False (VARIANT_FALSE in C++).
  • Access rules that deny traffic may not be created in the array policy if the enterprise administrator sets the EnableDenyRules property of the FPCPolicyAssignment object (IFPCPolicyAssignment interface in C++) for the array to False (VARIANT_FALSE in C++).
  • Server publishing rules and Web publishing rules may not be created in the array policy if the enterprise administrator sets the EnablePublishingRules property of the FPCPolicyAssignment object (IFPCPolicyAssignment interface in C++) for the array to False (VARIANT_FALSE in C++).
