SetTime Initialization Variable
Controls the date and time assigned to your local file copies by a get operation. The setting for this variable affects the setting for the Compare initialization variable.
Syntax
SetTime = {Current|Modification|Checkin}
Remarks
You can set this variable in your Ss.ini file directly or in Visual SourceSafe Explorer. In Visual SourceSafe Explorer, use the SourceSafe Options dialog box, Local Files tab. Provide a setting for the Set date/time on local files option.
Examples
Gives files a new date/time stamp when Visual SourceSafe retrieves them:
SetTime = Current
