IStorageFile.ContentType property

Gets the MIME type of the contents of the file.

Syntax


string ContentType { get; }

Property value

Type: System.String [.NET] | Platform::String [C++]

The MIME type of the file contents.

For example, a music file might have the "audio/mpeg" MIME type.

Remarks

If you simply want to check the content type of a file in your app, see the ContentType property of the StorageFile class.
