Control.OnDragEnter Method

Silverlight

Called before the DragEnter event occurs.

Namespace:  System.Windows.Controls
Assembly:  System.Windows (in System.Windows.dll)

'Declaration
Protected Overridable Sub OnDragEnter ( _
	e As DragEventArgs _
)

Parameters

e
Type: System.Windows.DragEventArgs
A DragEventArgs that contains the event data.

The OnDragEnter method is called before any event handler for the DragEnter event is called. This method allows derived classes to handle the DragEnter event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

This implementation does not change the handled state (the Handled property) of the DragEnter event data.

Notes to Inheritors

When overriding OnDragEnter in a derived class, be sure to call the base class’s OnDragEnter method so that registered delegates receive the event.
