Specifies an algorithm to hash all files in an assembly. This class cannot be inherited.
Assembly: mscorlib (in mscorlib.dll)
Thetype exposes the following members.
|AssemblyAlgorithmIdAttribute(AssemblyHashAlgorithm)||Initializes a new instance of the class with the specified hash algorithm, using one of the members of AssemblyHashAlgorithm to represent the hash algorithm.|
|AssemblyAlgorithmIdAttribute(UInt32)||Initializes a new instance of the class with the specified hash algorithm, using an unsigned integer to represent the hash algorithm.|
|Equals||Infrastructure. Returns a value that indicates whether this instance is equal to a specified object. (Inherited from Attribute.)|
|Finalize||Allows an object to try to free resources and perform other cleanup operations before the Object is reclaimed by garbage collection. (Inherited from Object.)|
|GetHashCode||Returns the hash code for this instance. (Inherited from Attribute.)|
|GetType||Gets the Type of the current instance. (Inherited from Object.)|
|Match||When overridden in a derived class, returns a value that indicates whether this instance equals a specified object. (Inherited from Attribute.)|
|MemberwiseClone||Creates a shallow copy of the current Object. (Inherited from Object.)|
|ToString||Returns a string that represents the current object. (Inherited from Object.)|
The file hash values and names in the assembly are stored in the assembly manifest. When a file is loaded, the hash value is used to verify that a file has not been changed since the manifest was built.
For more information on assembly attributes, see Setting Assembly Attributes in the full .NET Framework documentation.
