FileSystemInfo.Attributes Property

When called by trusted applications, gets or sets the FileAttributes of the current FileSystemInfo.

Property Value

Type: System.IO.FileAttributes
FileAttributes of the current FileSystemInfo.

ExceptionCondition
FileNotFoundException

The specified file does not exist.

DirectoryNotFoundException

The specified path is invalid, such as being on an unmapped drive.

SecurityException

The caller does not have the required permission.

ArgumentException

The caller attempts to set an invalid file attribute.

IOException

Refresh cannot initialize the data.

 This member has a SecurityCriticalAttribute attribute on Silverlight for Windows Phone, because the attribute was present in Silverlight 3. This attribute restricts this member to internal use. Application code that uses this member throws a MethodAccessException.
