AutomationPeer.GetItemType Method

Gets a string that describes what kind of item an element represents.

Return Value

Type: System.String
The kind of item.

Remarks

Examples of the returned string are "Mail Message", "Contact", and "Document".

This implementation does nothing more than calling GetItemTypeCore.
