[ This article is for Windows Phone 8 developers. If you’re developing for Windows 10, see the latest documentation. ]

You can display a badge to let your customers know that your Windows Phone app is available in the Windows Phone Store. Note that in order to use these images, you must follow the Marketing Kit for Windows Store App Developers.

You can generate a custom badge with a link to your app's listing by using our Windows Store badge generator. You can also download the full set of badges in all sizes, colors, and languages from that page.

The Windows Phone Store badge is intended to provide a clear way to communicate the availability of your app on the Windows Phone Store. The badge can be used in your print or digital media, and is made available in a number of colors, sizes, and languages. See the badge generator page page for more details and the full set of downloads.

The badge generator page page also includes a link to download device images for Phone, tablet, convertible, laptop, and all-in-one devices, which you can use to provide context for your apps by showing them as they would appear on a real device. Note that you must include a screen shot of your app when using these device chassis images.

The following are some guidelines for using the Windows Phone Store badge.

  • You may only display the badge on your website for Windows Phone apps that are already certified and accepted for distribution on Windows Phone Store.

  • For online or digital media, the badge must always be an active link to a Windows Phone app published within the Windows Phone Store When you use the badge generator page, this link and the corresponding HTML code is provided for you.

  • Your title and other trademarks and buttons must appear at least as prominent as the badge. You may not display the badge in any manner that implies affiliation with, sponsorship, or endorsement by Microsoft.

  • You may not alter the badge in any manner, including proportions, colors, elements, etc., or animate, morph, or otherwise distort its perspective or appearance.

For additional details about using the badge, see the Marketing Kit for Windows Store App Developers.
