TextWriter.Write Method (String, Object, Object)
Writes out a formatted string, using the same semantics as String.Format.
Assembly: mscorlib (in mscorlib.dll)
format is null.
The TextWriter is closed.
An I/O error occurs.
The format specification in format is invalid.
The number indicating an argument to be formatted is less than zero, or larger than or equal to the number of provided objects to be formatted.
This method uses composite formatting to convert the value of an object to its string representation. The FormatProvider property, if not null, specifies the culture-specific formatting. For more information, see Composite Formatting. This method does not search the specified String for individual newline characters (hexadecimal 0x000a) and replace them with NewLine.
If a specified object is not referenced in the format string, it is ignored.
