Decimal.IConvertible.ToUInt32 Method

This API supports the .NET Framework infrastructure and is not intended to be used directly from your code.

Parameters

provider
Type: System.IFormatProvider

This parameter is ignored.

Return Value

Type: System.UInt32
The value of the current instance, converted to a UInt32.

IConvertible.ToUInt32(IFormatProvider)

ExceptionCondition
OverflowException

The resulting integer value is less than MinValue or greater than MaxValue.

This member is an explicit interface member implementation. It can be used only when the Decimal instance is cast to an IConvertible interface. The recommended alternative is to call either the Decimal.ToUInt32 method or the Convert.ToUInt32 method.

The Decimal value is rounded toward zero to the nearest integer value.
