Decimal.IConvertible.ToByte Method

This API supports the .NET Framework infrastructure and is not intended to be used directly from your code.

Type: System.IFormatProvider

This parameter is ignored.

Return Value

Type: System.Byte
The value of the current instance, converted to a Byte.

ExceptionCondition
OverflowException

The resulting integer value is less than MinValue or greater than MaxValue.

This member is an explicit interface member implementation. It can be used only when the Decimal instance is cast to an IConvertible interface. The recommended alternative is to call either the Decimal.ToByte method or the Convert.ToByte method.
