AssemblyName Methods

The AssemblyName type exposes the following members.

Public method Clone Makes a copy of this AssemblyName object.
Public method Equals(Object) Determines whether the specified Object is equal to the current Object. (Inherited from Object.)
Protected method Finalize Allows an object to try to free resources and perform other cleanup operations before the Object is reclaimed by garbage collection. (Inherited from Object.)
Public method GetHashCode Serves as a hash function for a particular type. (Inherited from Object.)
Public method GetPublicKey Gets the public key that identifies the assembly.
Public method GetPublicKeyToken Gets the public key token, which is the last 8 bytes of the SHA-1 hash of the public key under which the application or assembly is signed.
Public method GetType Gets the Type of the current instance. (Inherited from Object.)
Protected method MemberwiseClone Creates a shallow copy of the current Object. (Inherited from Object.)
Public method Static member ReferenceMatchesDefinition Returns a value that indicates whether two assembly names are the same. The comparison is based on the simple assembly names
Public method SetPublicKey Sets the public key that identifies the assembly.
Public method SetPublicKeyToken Sets the public key token, which is the last 8 bytes of the SHA-1 hash of the public key under which the application or assembly is signed.
Public method ToString Returns the full name of the assembly, also known as the display name. (Overrides Object.ToString().)
