IdentityVerifier.TryGetIdentity Method

Tries to create an identity from an endpoint.

	EndpointAddress reference,
	out EndpointIdentity identity
)

Parameters

reference
Type: System.ServiceModel.EndpointAddress

The EndpointAddress to use for creating the identity.

identity
Type: System.ServiceModel.EndpointIdentity%

The EndpointIdentity that is returned.

Return Value

Type: System.Boolean
true if the identity is returned; otherwise, false. The default is false.

The default IdentityVerifier creates a DnsEndpointIdentity based on the hostname portion of Uri if an explicit EndpointIdentity has not been specified as part of the EndpointAddress.
