Dispatches a method or property getter to a custom control pattern provider.

Syntax

HRESULT Dispatch(
  [in] IUnknown                    *pTarget,
  [in] UINT                        index,
  [in] const UIAutomationParameter *pParams,
  [in] UINT                        cParams
);

Parameters

[in] pTarget

Type: IUnknown*

A pointer to the object that implements the control pattern provider.

[in] index

Type: UINT

The index of the method or property getter.

[in] pParams

Type: UIAutomationParameter*

A pointer to an array of structures that contain information about the parameters to be passed.

[in] cParams

Type: UINT

The count of parameters in pParams.

Return value

Type: HRESULT

If this method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.
