depthRange method

Sets the depth range for normalized coordinates to canvas or viewport depth coordinates.

Syntax

WebGLRenderingContext.depthRange(zNear, zFar);

Parameters

zNear [in]

Type: Number

Value between 0 - 1, and less than or equal to zFar. Initial value of 0.

zFar [in]

Type: Number

Value in the range of 0 - 1. Initial value of 1.

Return value

This method does not return a value.

Remarks

WebGL errorDescription
gl.INVALID_OPERATIONIf the zNear value is greater than zFar.
