send method

Transmits a data string to the server for processing.

 

Syntax

HRESULT retVal = object.send(varBody);

Parameters

  • varBody [in, optional]
    Type: VARIANT

    Receives a VARIANT of type BSTR containing the data to transmit to the server. If omitted, the behavior is identical to that of sending an empty string ( "" ).

Return value

Type: HRESULT

If this method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.
