The DetectEncodingFromMetaTag property gets or sets a Boolean value that indicates whether the encoding is detected from the meta tag or determined by the InputEncoding property.

Property value
Type: System.Boolean
The DetectEncodingFromByteOrderMark property returns true if the meta tag in the input is to be used to determine the encoding. This property returns false to indicate that the input encoding is to be determined by the InputEncoding property.
Remarks
The DetectEncodingFromMetaTag property must be set before conversion begins.
