ScheduledAction.Name Property

Gets the name of the scheduled action.

Type: String. The name of the scheduled action.

Exceptions

Exception Condition
ArgumentNullException

The name string cannot be null.

ArgumentOutOfRangeException

The name string cannot be zero length. The maximum length of the name string is 63 characters. The string can contain only printable ASCII characters (character values between 32 and 126).

Remarks

The Name property is used by the system to identify scheduled actions, so the value must be unique per application. Attempting to add a notification with a name that already exists for your application in the system will throw an exception.

Set the name of a system notification by providing it to the constructor for the derived types, Alarm, Reminder, PeriodicTask, or ResourceIntensiveTask. The maximum length of the name string is 63 characters. The string can contain only printable ASCII characters (character values between 32 and 126).
