Specifies the kind of filter to use when searching for contacts.

None | A filter that returns all contacts. | |
PinnedToStart | A filter that returns all contacts that are pinned to the Start screen. | |
EmailAddress | A filter that returns contacts by email address. | |
PhoneNumber | A filter that returns contacts by phone number. | |
DisplayName | A filter that returns contacts by display name. | |
Identifier | A filter that returns contacts by local identifier. |
Remarks
The FilterKind type is used to specify the kind of filter to use when searching for contacts by using the SearchAsync method. The default value is None. For more information about how the filter is used to match contacts, see Contact filtering and matching for Windows Phone 8.

If you use this API in your app, you must specify the following capabilities in the app manifest. Otherwise, your app might not work correctly or it might exit unexpectedly.
