Remove-AzureWebsite

Removes the specified website from Windows Azure.

This topic describes the cmdlet in the .6.19 version of the Windows Azure PowerShell module. To find out the version of the module you're using, from the Windows Azure PowerShell console, type (get-module azure).version.

The Remove-AzureWebsite cmdlet removes the specified website from Windows Azure, either with or without a prompt for confirmation.

-Force

If specified, deletes the specified website without prompting for confirmation.

Remove the current website

This example removes the website in Windows Azure associated with the current directory

Remove a website without confirmation

This example deletes the website named 'mySite' without prompting for confirmation.
