WinJS.UI.enableAnimations function

[This documentation is preliminary and is subject to change.]

Applies to: Metro style apps only

Enables all Animation Library and ListView animations.

Syntax

WinJS.UI.enableAnimations();

Parameters

This method has no parameters.

Return value

This function does not return a value.

Remarks

The enableAnimations and disableAnimations functions allow apps to keep their custom animations in sync with the Animations Library setting. It also allows apps that run in the web compartment to enable or disable animations to respect the system's "disable animations" accessibility setting. Normally this is done automatically, but the accessibility setting cannot be received by the web compartment, and so the app must enable or disable animations manually.
